NexGard® Chewables for Dogs are an FDA-approved soft chew that kills and protects against fleas and ticks for a full 30 days. NexGard® also kills four types of ticks, the American dog tick, the black-legged (Deer) tick, the Brown dog tick, and the Lone Star tick.

Your furry friend must have a current weight on file with your veterinarian in order to be prescribed flea and tick prevention. Please visit your veterinarian to have your furry friend’s weight performed annually to protect your four-legged friend. Your furry friend must be at least 1 year old to get a 6 month and 12 month supply.

Special Precautions

For use in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older. NexGard is for use in dogs only. The most frequently reported adverse reactions include vomiting, dry/flaky skin, diarrhea, lethargy, and lack of appetite. The safe use of NexGard in pregnant, breeding or lactating dogs has not been evaluated. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures.
